A team of 14 Ginninderra swimmers travelled to SOPAC to compete in the NSW State Open Championships from the 4-6th March 2016.
Congratulations to all our swimmers: William (swimming for Ginninderra for the 1st time!), James, Richard, Elijah, Kayla, Ryan, Tash, Ciaran, Lukah, Cameron, Anna, Bella, Charlotte and Grace.

The meet was the last major event before the Olympic trials in April and many members of the Australian Dolphins swim team competed as part of their preparations. Many Ginninderra swimmers were able to experience their first major meet and see how the Australian team members prepare to race, race and recover. Cameron, Ryan, Tash and Kayla qualified for B finals putting them in the top 20 swimmers in a very competitive, international field- a huge achievement!
