Ginninderra Swimmers at State Age (10U-12 years)-Results
What a fantastic effort from our team of 10&U-12 years swimmers at NSW State Age in Sydney!
Highlights of the meet included:
- Ginninderra (with a relatively small team of 7 swimmers) finished 6th on the medal tally and 11th on the pointscore (from 74 clubs).
- A number of swimmers: Sophie Dawe, Olivia Reid, Xander Tuan, Alys Holdom and Zara Imhoff qualified and competed at LC State Age for the first time.
- Kayla Hardy finished the meet with 6 gold medals, 2 Silver and 1 bronze from her 9 events. This included a provisional NSW State Record in the 400m IM. An incredible acheivement considering the high level of competition.
- Xander Tuan swam 5 from 6 PB's and just missed a medal, finishing 4th in the 100 backstroke.
- The girls 12&U relay team swam PB's in both the freestyle and medly relay events.
