here for an invitation to the Ginninderra Swim Club Recognition Breakfast which will be held on Saturday June 4th.
The GSC Recognition breakfast is one of two delicious breakfasts that we hold during the year, the second being around October/November which is the Club Presentation breakfast. These events are an opportunity for us to celebrate our swimmers' achievements, as well as get together as a club away from the pool, and to give Jim the opportunity to provide us with some wisdom on the future opportunities and challenges for us. We hold these breakfasts at Premier Hotel in Belconnen, our main club sponsor, who provide the room for free (as part of our sponsor agreement), and serve up a great buffet breakfast.
At our recognition breakfast in June we recognise achievements in the summer season and present ACT swimming certificates for Winter and Summer seasons (including development point score certificates), and club record certificates. We also congratulate swimmers who have represented the club at major meets and those who have received ACT swimming awards.
At the presentation breakfast in October/November we present trophies and awards for Club Age Champions, coaches awards and improvement trophies for the swimming 'year' (which runs October - September).
