Junior Development Squad
The Junior Development Squad provides a transition from learn-to-swim lessons to competitive practice. The squad caters for children aged between 7 and 10 years who wish to begin their competitive swimming experience in an educational environment.
To optimize skill learning, it is recommended that children swim two to three 45 minute sessions per week.

The Development Squad program provides opportunities for swimmers to develop all aspects of stroke technique, fitness levels and race skills to prepare for competitions.
The Development Squad caters for children aged 9 to 11 years who have begun swimming at a competitive level. Practice sessions focus on technique and race skills in a positive environment.
Swimmers should swim two sessions per week, building up to four sessions per week. Each session is one hour in duration.

The Bronze Squad assists swimmers to develop all aspects of stroke technique, fitness levels and race skills to prepare for competition. The Bronze squad is primarily designed for swimmers 10 to 14 years. Practice sessions focus on fitness training, the development of all four strokes and specific skills for competition in an educational environment.
Swimmers should attend four sessions per week, building up to six sessions per week as they progress.

The Silver Squad provides a comprehensive training and skill developments program for the competitive swimmer striving to compete at a higher level.
The Silver squad is designed for the 12 to 14 year old swimmer, with consideration given to younger advanced swimmers and older 'late starters'. Training sessions focus on fitness training, the development of all four strokes and specific skills for competition in an educational environment.
Swimmers should attend 5 sessions per week, building up to 8 sessions per week as they progress.

The Gold Squad provides an intensive training and skill development program for the competitive swimmer striving to compete at the National level. This squad is designed for swimmers aged 15 years and older.
Swimmers should attend 8 to 10 sessions per week depending on their specific program, which is set in consultation with the Head Coach, Jim Fowlie.

The Adult Squad provides a social training group focused on fitness training and skill development for the adult swimmer. The Adult squad is designed for the 25 years and older swimmer. Training sessions focus on fitness training and stroke development. The program is ideal for the triathlete, senior competitor, master or former competitive swimmer returning to training for fitness. The program is designed to encourage adult fitness through support and motivation.
To optimize fitness and skill development swimmers should attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week.
Morning Training sessions:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 5:30 – 6:30am, 6:30 – 7:30am
Wednesday – 6:30 – 7:30am
Saturday – 8:00 – 9:00am
Evening Training sessions:
Tuesday, Thursday – 6:30 – 7:30pm
